Ideas make money. Execution puts ideas into action. Many argue that money makes the world go round. However, the underlying driver of money is executing ideas. With no ideas, there will be no money, and the world will stop spinning.
One chilly day in June 2013, a few moments after the cinema lights came back on and the credits to “The Internship” started running up the screen, I turned to my sister and said “Man, Google is awesome!”
With the first semester of my Masters course done and dusted, I decided to put the feelers out and, with any luck, delve into the covert world of summer internships. One year has passed since 200 passengers and crew-members disappeared whilst on a routine flight path across the South China Sea on route from Kuala Lumpur to Beijing.
In December of 2014, McDonald’s announced it would be simplifying its menu by cutting down on the number of items in an attempt to improve service time. This was in response to the fast food icon reporting a 2.2% decline in global sales in November. However, the announcement did not reference any particular menu items which led to controversy surrounding McDonald’s flagship offering, the Big Mac.
Apple is finally making a big advertising splash for the Apple Watch, and it’s probably not what you think it is. Instead of buying a minute of your television time or posting up billboards in the most coveted urban locales, Apple is taking up 12 pages in fashion and lifestyle magazine Vogue.
